  • i complete civil inspections on every civil aspect within site and then write up an inspection report on the defects found after completion of the inspection.

  • i have learnt many new skills from all the training i complete and from working along side senior engineers

  • i enjoy my programme as there is always something new everyday and i am always learning or completing some type of training.

  • I feel my programme is very well organised, there are many training courses available for me to join. The programme has been running for years which means a lot of progress is made

  • i have a mentor who i go to if i have any problems or need any help, i also have 1 to 1s with my mentor to track my progress and ensure i am on target. if i need any help i am able to go straight to my employer.

  • i am given some support from my training advisor with monthly meetings to ensure i am working to my targets and not struggling with any work.

  • i feel that what i am learning through college is helping me understand many civil aspects more to understand civil matters whilst in work.

  • there are many extra-curricular activities that i can get involved in such as a group called magnet who complete a range of different activities.
