I make sure every customer is welcomed to the restaurant and treated well according to their needs and expectations. I help them through the menu options available and to place their orders in the digital kiosks. we are also responsible for keeping the store clean and safe according to health and safety regulations.
Working at McDonald's has gave me a lot of new skills that will help me throughout my working and social life. Ford example I use my listening skills to understand better my colleges and the customers, saving a lot of time and making my work more efficient. Also, my organizational skills have helped me to handle better more tasks and responsibilities with less effort.
honestly, I loved my program since the beginning. My mentor and manager made sure I felt at ease and confortable while at work so I had the opportunity to learn all the different topics I was supposed to while gaining all the experience that I now have which finally made me the professional individual that I am now
Even though my programme went through difficulties because of the Covid 19 pandemic crisis leading to a temporary restaurant closure. Lifetime training effectively reorganized it so that I could continue learning from home and not loose any valuable time. luckily we managed to open again quickly and went through my final assessments online.
I sincerely believe that McDonald's is one of the greatest companies to have a great long term career. Here you can start from the very beginning without any previous experience and knowledge working yourself up thanks to its amazing constant learning structure with the help of your colleagues and managers.
my Lifetime trainer and my mentor supported my a lot both from online and in person when I was at the restaurant. they were very patient Nd helpful when I was slow at some areas making sure o got things right. I made a great professional friendship with them that will last for years.
My qualification has gave me a lot of confidence and experience that makes me carry out my duties professionally and very effectively. I feel that now I can handle more responsibility, I can be a role model for my colleagues and I am a brand ambassador for McDonald's and for the hospitality.
At McDonald's we have many extra curricular activities to get involved like a very competitive football team every year, the Ronald McDonald House charity which helps a lot of young people. litter collection every night and we also get to have a Christmas party were we can meet all the crew members from other stores.
