I answer the phone and book in clients, i shampoo, condition, and take off colours. I sweep up all the hair in the salon, I make sure the salon is always clean and make sure everything is disinfected so is safe for the next client. i also check the clients in and take them to their seat.

I have learnt lots of new skills, I have learnt how to cut hair, colour hair, style and how to do a variety of blow dries. I have also learnt how to book in clients on the system and how to talk to confidently talk to clients which was something I struggled with at the start.

I really enjoy my programme. The online lessons with Bev are really good and I learn a lot from doing these. I also enjoy doing to practical work in the salon on doll heads or clients, I find these really enjoyable as I am able to do hair while learning new skills

My programme is very organised, I have set work for each month which I have to complete, Bev explains these in our online sessions. The online sessions are also very organised as Bev explains what we will be doing in the these sessions and she will also explain what we will be doing in our next session.

I receive good support from my employer, if i ever had a problem at work or with training I can talk to him and he will help me with it and give me advice on the problem.

I receive support from my training provide as they help me with my clients when they come in and they answer all my questions about training which helps me understand all the skills.

It gives me more confidence with my clients, when doing the hair and talking to the clients as well.

There are courses that happen which you can be apart of to help with your skills and can give you more knowledge on skills
