Early years practitioner Review

I work with child age between 0 to 5 years old. Currently I’m working with toddler who are 2 years old. As a practitioner my role is to ensure all children are meeting their personal developmental goals, and achieving the highest standard of learning available.

During my time I have learnt more about the EYFS and experienced how children develop through playing in early years.

I really enjoy my programme as it has given me challenges to boost my confident.

It is organised very well.

I have received a lot of support through managements and also work colleagues. They have helped from start of my apprenticeship either with ideas about activities or even coursework.

I have received full support from my trainer. Either through emails, phone calls and through ‘bud’.

It has given me more understanding of how it is like to work with young children. What responsibilities the practitioner have to ensure children are safe and secure in the environment they come in.

We have staff well being day. We also have different courses which we could attend for the betterment of our profession.
