    • Teaching assistant, I assist the children in a year 3/4 class of 30. I assist the teacher in helping the children to progress and learn to the best of their ability. I complete 1-1 interventions, group interventions and classroom assistance.

    • I have developed my knowledge of the curriculum and different special educational needs. I have also grown in confidence throughout my apprenticeship.

    • My programme has been really enjoyable as it has supported me in getting a qualification in the job I have always wanted to do.

    • My programme was very well structured, bud was very useful to see task set and work on these, with clear instructions for each task.

    • My tutor was very helpful and always replied to my many emails efficiently and answered any questions I may have had.

    • There are lots of meetings and support put in place for my qualification, preparation assessments and mock exams.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

    • It has improved my knowledge in many areas. Such as the curriculum and learning styles, and theorists. This supports me in understanding how the children think and learn.

    • I have not been involved in any extra curricular activities.
