I greet customers and get them ready for their chosen service for example how ing them up, washing their hair or making them something to drink. I also maintain the salon by cleaning and sanitising the salon, equipment and tools. I also help my boss by mixing colours, ripping foils and setting up stations for the next client.
I have learnt many new skills. Such as my colour theory, what toners to use on different hair types and why. I have also significantly improved on styling hair.
I love it, everyone is very supportive and nice, I have certainly learnt a lot in the short time I’ve been on the course.
Very organised I speak to my tutor regularly and get given advice on how to revise and what she thinks I need to work on so that I’m working to the best of my abilities. Everything is very organised and straight forward.
Tonnes, she is constantly helping me to progress my skills by talking through what she is doing on a customer so that I can understand and go practice on a block.
Lots! My tutor is very helpful in making me understand all of the theory work, I have learnt lots about legislations.
It is more personal than a college setting, you get advice tailored to you as an individual and it’s not scary at all, it’s more comforting to be able to ask questions.
