  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I will start at 7 and from then i will start to process the wip for another site, When the morning parts run comes i will sort that out and put it on the correct shelf for where it is meant to be, Then i will continue to scan across wip along with helping techs and doing a perpertual stock check every day.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • During my time in this apprenticeship i have learnt to manage my time more efficient and make more of the time that i have free, i have also learnt where to find certain things on our parts lookup systems that i wouldn't of known beforehand, I have learnt to prioritize things that need to get done now and what can be left till later on.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • When i first left school i was a bit skeptical of the whole experience but now that i have a bit of experience in the real world i feel a lot better and confident with the situation. I love what i do on a day to day basis, i wouldn't ever change it.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • In fairness the organisation of the program is very good , well organised and structured. They is a clear target to reach at the end of the road, you will be able to gain help from anyone within the business as they are very helpful in what they do. The program is a great thing and i would recommend it to anyone

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • As a first year apprentice i receive so much help from other people as i am inexperienced in this area so i make use of the tools that i have at my disposal and use when i can, The company are great at supporting me and what i need to do.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My trainer provider catches up with monthly for a review, during this he will also set me work to do to a deadline, with i will complete and then we will review these and try to improve these to a standard that skillnet are happy with. Then I will contact them if I need any help with anything.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I think that it give me a better understanding into what customers needs are and what they want from a service, the qualification make me feel like i have a purpose and that i need to fulfill this to the best of my ability, if i can do this successfully, I will go the places i want to go in life.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Within The business there is a chance to become people champions, with is a role where you can gain a understanding of mental health and how to combat in within the workplace, It is a great opportunity to learn some new skills and understanding to what you are doing. I am grateful for this opportunity

  • 9a. Would you recommend MOTUS Commercials to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I really enjoy my time within the company i get treated like an adult and am able to gain an understanding into the needs of the company and the way the company works, is a great experience as you understand what it is like to be in the real working world.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to MOTUS Commercials?
  • Be optimistic with you approach, treat anyone and everyone how you wish to be treated, don't be big headed as you will be shut down by higher up people, speak to customers in a polite and understanding manner, try and be as helpful as you possibly can to your colleagues and others outside of the business
