  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My jobe role is to take control of leading a shift, ensuring my team are briefed before the start of their shift , ensuring they are happy and in shape to work. I also work alongside kitchen to make sure food checks are done and food quality is monitored and food quality have been check before guests receive the food. Making sure any incidents are rectify by trained staff members or are passed on to me immediately and are handle with delicately, ensuring all customers leave with a great experience.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • With my new role I have learnt how to do back office jobs such as cashing up , banking , handling emails and complaints also been taught beer Checks. Recently been learning the bee procedures following covid guidelines and ensuring are trained and equipped.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I like to learn new skills that can help me through my work and make it easier for me or gives me a new perspective on how I can handles things differently.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I believe it is organised as I have a set day that I meet with my assessor were I can go through my independent learning and I can get opportunity to speak with if I am needing more help and advice. I think having a set day is a good way of targeting yourself to aim for that day to get work all up to date.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employers are very supportive of my apprenticeship and always give me time to get my work done and to meet up with my assessor without it effecting my work.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My trainer is very supportive he lets me be very independent with my work however if I am struggling or needs guidance they always get back in touch with a answer or advice when I need it.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I believe I perform the same but yet I have more understanding on my job role and more about the background of the role and what it entails for me.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I tend to take part in activities with in my place of work with parties and events , but however out of work I do not.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Because it’s a brilliant company to work with because they look after their employees really well and have a lot to offer them for example help and advice line and even have a wage stream were if you are struggling with fiancé’s they can help you get on the right track, I think benefits are amazing they look after their teams well.
