I’m a team leader, I over see my shifts looking after my team. Serving customers, assessing situations and actin accordingly. Also office work, cash handling, telephone calls to maintenance and customers.
I’ve developed new skills such as being a more efficient team leader. Being able to listen to my team members and problem solving skills
It seems strange but I enjoyed working through workbooks
I struggled to begin with as I had an assessor who left, giving me some one else who only dealt with me over the phone, then the previous one came back then left again and I ended up with my new assessor who I found amazing.
I received support from my employer as and when it was required
When I got my final training provider, , nothing was too much of an issues. I could email or text with any issue and he endeavoured to get back to me for assistance as soon as he could.
I believe it helps me a great deal, I am in fact thinking of staring the next level to gain more experience
We don’t have anything fancy, with the industry I am in, hospitality, it’s impossible for us all to meet up together

I believe they strive to make you succeed in your role and encourage you to always get better
Just be yourself! Working with customers daily takes a lot of courage, strength and self belief.
