  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I work on a large account that deals with new tasks everyday. For example one day I could be programming and the next I could be giving support and solutions to our customers. I never get bored.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt new skills and developed existing ones from the day I started. It is brilliant because anyone will help you no matter how silly a question is. I can safely say I have learnt plenty since I started and built upon previous skills.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by IBM?
  • In a short answer... NO! It is too big for its own good.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I don't know what I need to do for the programme. There is no structure/criteria in my eyes. I think IBM need to create a structure which isn't so wishy washy. I think the PDMs (Personal Development Managers) need to sit down their apprentices and show them what they need to do to gain the qualification.
