  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is structured very well with new tasks for me to learn in order for me to be able to adapt over the for-coming months and years to learn how to be a deputy manager effectively so then I can perform this role when my time comes which is great

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Since starting I have received loads of compliments and positive feedback from employers from the bottom all the way to the top which is really helpful and supportive. It allows me to remain positive when completing a task and not make me feel as though I am under pressure. We work well as a team

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Due to the current situation across the country (covid 19) I have yet to have been able to begin this part of my programme as it would seem wrong to be going against government guidelines. I am sure once this has passed over this will begin and will help me to ensure I receive these qualifications

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Again due to the current situation across the country this has not yet been possible with my training provider, however so far with the help of colleagues across the whole store it has allowed me to become a better individual and have certainly improved my role so far since being at the store

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • At the moment I am unsure of this due to the countries lockdown state however after this has passed I am sure there are many social activities that the colleagues may be involved in which I would be more than happy to partake in. Even whether it is something small I am willing to trial it!

  • 9a. Would you recommend Aldi to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I would definitely recommend Aldi to a friend. Not just as a store to shop in, but also as a genuine career path for the foreseeable future. It offers many great benefits for everyone. The benefits are great for those shopping as Aldi are a leading supermarket who are competitive with other companies

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Aldi?
  • Remain positive and work hard if you are successful! When applying start research on the company and find key details which can help you stand out above others. These can include core values of the company or the store sizes or how many there are across the country or other countries for that matter
