  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Working for The AA was one of the best things I decided to do. On a daily basis I work on the phones and dispatch patrols out to people who are broken down. Because it is part of an apprenticeship your also learning whilst being on the phones. I do enjoy it and I would recommend this job.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have definitely increased my confidence and become a lot better at talking on the phone to people. My advice would be that you interact with people on a daily basis so if you can keep a positive mind frame and stay patient during the phone calls it's a good skill to have.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I have become a lot more confident whilst learning on the job. The more you become familiar with working on the phones the more you start to progress on a day to day basis. When you learn something you then put it into practice when on the phones so you are always learning something new.
