  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Day to day I work with the team in creating innovative solutions to client problems. This could be through building a dashboard, manipulating data, running a workshop, market research etc. I have a catchup at least once a week with the people I'm working with were we discuss progress and next steps

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Since joining EY I have worked in different areas which has given me access to many different skill sets. The skill you develop quickest is communication, you will be talking and interacting with people on a daily bases whether its a client or someone internal. I have developed a number of other technical skills using data transformations along with design and presentation skills.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy the program and think it is a great opportunity that everyone should take if they get the chance. It is a job that you won't mind getting up in the morning for as everyday comes with different challenges. I would highly recommend it as if you don't enjoy it then there is no point doing it.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My program is very well structured as we are given days out of the working week to spend time working on our studies. Everyone in the team are aware of the programme and the commitments we have and therefore are conscious when assigning work loads as they know what you have on your plate.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel the qualification helps me do better in my role as the content links in with my day to day work. Not only this but learning about something is one thing but when you then have the workspace to apply these skills it really helps you get the most out of it.
