  • My work experience was me helping to create questions for people to learn about the EY foundation for the AI chatbot Buddy. I was including in lines of data for the chatbot to receive and then it will analyse different ways it can be said. This will then reply with a response.

  • I learnt how tech is used in EY on their website and the uses of AI. It was helpful to learnt how the 9-5 work hours is like however when you enjoy what you are doing it turns out to be very quick and enjoyable. I believe it was very helpful.

  • It was helpful to learnt how the 9-5 work hours is like however when you enjoy what you are doing it turns out to be very quick and enjoyable. I believe it was very helpful. This was very fun to work with people who are the same age as me and with similar interests.

  • I had a plan of all the days and what I'm going to do which made me feel at ease as if I don't know what's going on it puts me off from coming in however EY was very organised with how they presented out work experience.

  • Well I learnt that you can stay untill very late which was very daunting however it was very quick due to how fun and enjoyable I found the work experience. It was helpful to learnt how the 9-5 work hours is like however when you enjoy what you are doing it turns out to be very quick and enjoyable. I believe it was very helpful

  • 8. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees?
  • Yes I had a few opportunities to meet new people however it was hard to meet specific people as everyone was busy and I was mainly with my work experience people. This was ok however I wish I was able to meet new people interested in tech more as that is what I wanted.

  • Yes

  • It was helpful to learnt how the 9-5 work hours is like however when you enjoy what you are doing it turns out to be very quick and enjoyable. I believe it was very helpful. It helped me learn that I might want to get a similar job but one that I enjoy.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EY?
  • I suggest that you make sure to choose what you want to do as it does get boring if your doing work you don't enjoy. After all you will be spending at least 6 hours a day doing it so make sure to go down the right path. Make sure to also be punctual!
