  • My role includes- Diary management, travel,events,meeting organising, expenses/timesheets. I support directors on a daily basis in all business aspects of my scope of service.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learned many new skills since joining EY in my role. I have developed skills towards expenses and travel/ meetings. I am working towards a level 3 business admin accreditation.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy my programme and the atmosphere at my workplace, I have developed personal skills of professional communication and working for a large organisation. I work as a team in the business support centre.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • When I joined EY I participated in a series of inductions to how I use the systems and policies that I have to follow. Throughout the programme I receive support to develop myself in my role. My programme is well organised.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I have a coach sitting with me on a daily basis that offers high quality support in my role. I also have a team leader that is my counsellor who offers guidance and support. I feel very supported in my role at EY.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I have monthly catch up calls with my BPP coach who guides me and is able to answer any questions that I have about my coursework. I feel very supported with BPP and they offer wide range of guidance. I enjoy my studying side of my programme.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel that through my training provider I am able to apply my learning to my role and when writing about it in missions I feel that I can reflect towards my tasks. I put my theory into practice.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Within EY we have a team who create social activities of team building. We also have CR days that we devote time to work with charities in our community. When I am not working I enjoy time with fitness activities.

  • Yes

  • I feel that EY has helped to develop myself personally. It offers a wide range of support.

  • I would say to be confident in your skills and showcase who you are and what you can bring to EY. Trust your abilities.
