  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Rotation around different Functional areas, Currently in Marketing which involoves working with brands that are worth over £40m. My role varies from Helping with the creation of TV adverts to working alongside agencies to exicute brand communication camppaigns.

  • Currently studying for a BA (Hons) Degree in Professional business practice. Gained extensive insight into how i work and also how to do well in the corporate world.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The company culture here at Nestlé is very much suitied to me as it is based a a social interaction with everyone. however they do expect you to perform in your role too.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Nestle?
  • As this is a new programme for Nestlé there is a lot of attention of those on the scheme from the CEO down, as they all want this to be a success. This is a large organisation however so you will know always have the attention at any given time.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Nestlé pride themselves on their traing capabilities here and have a large team that work on our development and are constantly looking to develop us any way they can. This is still a new programme so there are some creases that still need to iron out.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • Sheffield Hallam University where we study are brilliant whilst we are they offer a huge amount of support whilst we are there. However whilst we are at work we do find it difficult to keep in contact with them due to the distance but it isnt impossible as we have access to all of their emails.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • We receve a huge amount of support from my Manager and the HR team at Nestlé. We are provided with a Mentor whist we are here at Nestlé that help with guidence of our carreer and long term development and also a buddy that is usually a Graduette or a older Fast Start.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • My salary more than covers the costs of my living costs and i have moved out of home to come work here. We also have our salary reviewed annually and have the opportunity to join different schemes that Nestlé offer such as the Share Scheme.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • During my time here at Nestlé I have attending Dinners at the Dorchester hotel in London been for Back stage Tours of the O2 in London been to see concerts in the corporate box at the O2, competed in sailing competions against other businesses and traveled around the contry visiting different factories and suppliers.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Offers both the opportunity to study for a degree and also the chanse to work at the largest Food & Beverage work. Also the degree is free! what more could you want!


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Nestle?
  • Being friendly inquistive is never a bad thing at interviews! Nestlé want passionate inderviduales to work for them!
