  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role is to assist the store manager in achieving the highest sales possible in store whilst ensuring an efficient and co-operative working environment, excellent customer service, consistent store standard, minimal costs, optimum productivity, tightly controlled inventory and price change, strong due diligence and accurate accounts, also training and developing new starters to the highest standards.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have yet to learn new skills from this training programme as I have just started but I look forward to take in as much information as possible and to apply my existing skills which I acquired over the course of my many years of experience in the service industry.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I'm happy to say that it's something that I've been meaning to do for a long time. It's a breath of fresh air and a opportunity to hone my skills.

  • It still need to research a little bit but my first impression is that it's well built with the aim of teaching.

  • My employer fully supports me and I'm really grateful.

  • My training provider does an amazing job in offering me support.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It remains to be seen as I have yet to delve into the courses but I trust it will help me on the long run.

  • Yes

  • Well organised, great team of people, good customers, excellent prices and great quality of products.
