  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I’ve learnt a lot of things as when I did my apprenticeship I was a team leader so only really did the front of house things but got promoted to trainee assistant manager so had to learn all that entails but I got there and I’m no longer a trainee

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The program pushed me with new things like my maths and English I had to re do them for the program and struggled with the maths at first as it’s been a long time since I was at school so most of it was really new to me but I eventually got there

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I loved it never had any problems apart from having three different assessors which slowed the process down a little bit but other then that I really enjoyed it all and am looking forward to starting the level 3 Nvq in the future and have got other staff members too start one as I really enjoyed

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • All my assessors were really good just didn’t like that I came to a stop because one had left and didn’t have a new one for a few months but other then that they were all really supportive and was happy to have them supporting me so thank you

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Because when I started with my pub I knew nothing about the kitchen or carvery I didn’t no the difference in the colours for knifes and tongues and chopping boards so it’s a real learning curve and eye opener But now I’m confident about it all and happy where I am

  • To be honest no there isn’t but maybe it could be I no we need a team bonding day to do activities to get us all working as a team especially as there’s constantly new starters and they get to see the difference to people in work and out side
