  • apprentice engineer. working along side engineers to maintain equipment on site. as well as, completing a BTEC course

  • achieving BTEC qualifications as well as on site training in health and safety and manual handling. on the job training to improve engineering skills. as well as, personal skills and discipline.

  • I enjoy working as part of a team and for the company.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Unilever?
  • I feel that I am appreciated by the company however there seems to be a lack of communication between different parts of the company which can lead to issues in other areas. there is an apprentice of the month award to be won which promotes good competition

  • initially it is very well organised. however there can be a break down in communication between the company, the college and apprentices.

  • for the most part there is good support. however, at times it is difficult to find someone that is able to give the right support at the right time

  • on site it can be difficult at times to find support. there is the tendency to feel as if you're in the way

  • I make as much I spend on rent and maintaining my car

  • good, stable job for a good company

  • be enthusiastic and passionate. be prepared for a lot of hard work
