Management apprentice Review

My role as a management apprentice is as the the same as a deputy manager in my company , this includes many things such as running shifts , co-ordinating staff and money handling

Throughout my time at Aldi , I have learnt a lot and all my skills and knowledge I have now is thanks to my apprenticeship with Aldi

I enjoy my programme a lot , the staff I work with are wonderful and allthough sometimes there are disagreements between staff , the vast majority of the time everyone works brilliantly together.

I feel as if I have earned myself value by earning my certificates for retail management , so I would like to say I am a valuable part of my team.

I think my programme is structured and there are clear guidelines as to what has to be learned in order to pass the examinations, allthough beside from the paper work side I feel as if there could be a better structure for practical learning and training.

I received a fair amount of support from my trainer , they visited my store monthly to complete various forms of work required for the certificates

I receive a fair amount of support from my employer , there are various companies such as retail hub that provide support for myself and anyone who needs it.

My salary does meet my cost of living allthough it only just does. Sometimes I feel like the work that I do is worth more than what I am paid but that is one downside to being an apprentice.

I’ve had the opportunity to go to meetings in different stores which is nice .

They are a great employer , I feel Aldi really care about its staff and the plans and goals that Aldi have for the future seem great to me and I would like to be apart of it.

If you are going to apply for Aldi , I would suggest showing that you are a quick learner and willing to work very hard , it is difficult work but it also comes with better rewards.
