  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My day to day role varies. I work in Tax in the London Office and I can help clients with their documentation or even give advice or planning to clients. The work varies quite a lot which helps you learn more broadly.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt lots of new skills. My time management has mostly improved as sometimes you have to handle multiple deadlines/projects at once and manage your time to meet those deadlines and prioritise certain work over other work. I also have internal training which helps me learn and have a load of online web-based learning available.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • There are lots of opportunities to be involved in at EY. There are various networks, clubs, sports, and events constantly happening. There is also an EY Foundation which you can volunteer in and help certain backgrounds. One of the programmes is called 'Smart Futures' and involves low-earning backgrounds to take place in work experience at EY and you become their buddy or mentor.
