  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Completing CMI learning logs and going to a corporate partner (DS Smith) and working in the legal sector. I had to look at the company’s legal documents and check whether they were available in the languages spoke by the countries they operate in, if not I had to take note of the legislation and report it.

  • I have developed confidence in my presentation and leadership skills.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoyed the programme a lot and would be glad to continue it for another few weeks.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by EY?
  • I felt very valued as we were allocated the top flow which had a nice view and a very spacious room. Also, they gave me lunch and always offered support.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It was well organised as we always had a schedule and knew how much we had to do each day.

  • A lot of support because they have given me a mentor for a 10 month period that I can go to for support in my career choice

  • I received a lot of support, I was constantly asked if I was comfortable with the work I was assigned and they monitored my progression accordingly.

  • It was fine and met my cost stably

  • Yes there are opportunities to get involved in community projects

  • Yes

  • This is because not only did I gain valuable skills and knowledge I got to network with people that I would probably have never met before


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EY?
  • To put themselves out there because you will get out as much as you want to put in.
