  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Each day we deal with live accounts where we need to make sure we are billing the customers correctly. We need to comply with the governing bodies and insure we meet the customers expectations when making contact to obtain a reading. This experience over all I am going to give a 7* The reason behind this is down to training.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I took on extra responsibility by taking on smart data fix where I pass the accounts to the IT specialists after reviewing the account and making sure its the correct request from colleagues.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Work - Work itself is standard, its no F1 and its not flipping burgers. Team - My team I have a strong bond with and keep up the positive atmosphere. Company culture - I don't think they are organised as much as they think they are. Lack off communication between teams and managers picking and choosing when to discipline or act when each manager should be the same. No bending rule.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by E.ON?
  • At the present time taking on SMART data fix's, I do feel some value there.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I think there is room improvement if they listened to their colleagues more and actually consider hotwires more and import them out into the business. Mangers fit to flys are all different I.E all messages are the same but some manger would do a 3min f2f and others would do 15mins and going into more detail about changes or up coming promotions/events around the company

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My manager and I have a love hate which is love, she is such a motherly figure and would help, listen and advice you. I haven't been in contact with HR team cause no need/ no access either but in general they are really happy to help on down days with I am really grateful for.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • Its great to see progression points while being on an apprenticeship. I think the apprenticeship should be able to scheme apprentice onto my choice when completing the apprenticeship to gain additional benefits. I wish I was aloud to negotiate pay due to the contribution I bring to the table.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • Yes, we have just started a sporting page where every friday we try and have a 5 aside game off football at a local pitch. This keeps a good laddish atmosphere for the lads and we are now offering rounders for the ladies and men to mix and have a proper laugh to let their hair down .

  • 9. Would you recommend E.ON to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Because I think its a great place to work if you have children because they are very lenient when it comes to illness and time off for you're child.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to E.ON?
