I am a management apprentice currently in my 3rd year with Aldi, my roles include controlling the cash office, supervising staff, and the paperwork that comes with it along with general store assistant duties.
I used to be quite a shy person but working with the public has helped me develop my people skills and come out of my shell a lot more.
It's been a fairly good experience on the whole with and all the links have been ironed out since I joined when it was fairly new, it's definitely one of the more fast paced and rewarding apprenticeships put there
I work with a fantastic team and couldn't ask for much more off them. My assistant manager has guided me through this whole scheme and backed me up 100% of the way.
As I said before it has come a long way since I started and improved dramatically for the better, the program has structure and a sense of where you are at and what you can aim for.
The college and especially my advisor have been brilliant, I couldn't have hoped for more backing off them
I receive a lot of support from the team I work with who always push me and support me 100% of the way, they made this whole experience what it is today and I am very grateful
It's been difficult meet costs as I'm 23 and have bills and out goings that mount up but I'm now in my 3rd year and it's become manageable.
I've helped out at various fairs to promote the Aldi apprenticeship to young people as I feel it's an experience someone hardworking and forward thinking should try.
Yes
I've recommended Aldi to several friends some of which work here now and enjoy it a lot, it's not for the faint hearted but if you want something challenging and rewarding this is the place for you
I would recommend looking into it thoroughly first as it is hard work, but the skills and people make it All worth while
