  • I am a business management apprentice in my final role where I am a cost and schedule integrator. This involves managing budget and timescales to ensure each of the companies annualised contracts stay on track.

  • Yes. During this apprenticeship I have developed numerous interpersonal skills, worked related skills and grown in confidence which I feel makes me much more competent starting a role.

  • I thoroughly enjoy it!

  • 4. How valued do you feel by BAE Systems?
  • I feel very valued, 90% of my placements have been working for managers who value the apprenticeship programme. However on the odd time some like to think of you as just an 'apprentice'.

  • Very well structured.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • I receive lots of support which is always appreciated, however, it isn't always accessible due to limited time.

  • I receive lots of support from my assessor, placement manager and training school.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • Fairly well, for an apprenticeship we get paid a lot however this is still hard to stretch.

  • Yes, there are lots! I have been involved in multiple outside of work opportunities.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • This is the best decision I have made and wouldn't change it. I have learnt so so much within my apprenticeship and have loved every minute.

  • To always give your all and take advantage of any opportunities brought your way.
