  • Project Manager for support of the Canadian Hawk fleet. Customer interaction. International travel to customer locations (Canada / Texas). Daily problem solving, presenting and customer interaction.

  • BSc Hons degree achieved from Lancaster University. Higher apprenticeship achieved through Association of Project managers. Communication skills, confidence, analysis, problem solving, time management.

  • Great corporate culture, a wealth of extra curricular activities to get involved in, strong team atmosphere.

  • Very much so. Company consistently invests in my development such as funding me to attend conferences, awards ceremonies and visits to customer locations outside of my current area of responsibility.

  • Small Uni classrooms, lots of support throughout the entire programme. Numerous opportunities and stretch assignments run alongside main scheme.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • Very generous salaries, bonuses, expense policies. 23 year old graduates can expect north of £33,000pa after completing the scheme.

  • Yes

  • Short of the BAE Sigma scheme, I know of no better way to start a career.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
  • Learn some background about the company through news articles to prepare for the interview, show an interest in the company itself as opposed to the perks of the scheme.
