In our first year there wasn't much in place for us but once the 2nd year began there was a huge improvement and a plan set in place which allowed everyone to enjoy the apprenticeship more and know the path that they were heading in. All colleagues are helpful and don't treat me like an apprentice, they treat me as if I was a normal worker.

Unilever is good at valuing their workers, there are prizes in place for improvement work and if you go beyond expectations then Unilever will always reward you for it so there is a good insight to do more when possible.

As we was the first year Manufacturing apprentices there wasn't a massive plan in place which led to our first year being on and off not understanding where we were going, although our second and third year is clear as to where we are heading and the 1st years have a great future ahead of them as they will have the plan we helped set in place.

West chesire college have a good set of tutors that help with work and allow everyone to understand things. No one is left behind.

We get 4 hours a week away from normal work to concentrate on our coursework for college, this allows us to be able to tie up any loose ends for our college work.

The wage at Unilever is very good for apprentice pay, it goes up every year at the apprenticeship. As I don't live far I don't pay a huge amount for travel so it doesn't effect me too much but it is in an area that is easily accessible by buses and trains.

There are many clubs that Unilever offer such as the run club and yoga. Also representing Unilever in career days for young people who would like to move into manufacturing.

Because Unilever is a great company to work for that look after you and offer you opportunity's, the pay is very good and it is a competitive job to be in that keeps you on your toes.

Be confident when applying for Unilever as you will be communicating with a lot of different people constantly. Also dress smart and use as much team work when doing activities in a group.
