  • The Discover EY programme is a one-day insight into how the world of finance works and the different service lines within a Big 4 firms such as EY The day consisted of networking and presentations of the different departments In order to get a better understanding of the work of the departments, tasks and fun games were played. e.g) as the tax department is constantly having to deal with new laws and regulations, a problem-solving game with legos was played

  • I learnt networking skills and developed confidence as a workshop on public speaking was also given

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Despite the programme being only a day it was very enjoyable especially when a tour of the EY office was given

  • It was clear that EY is a friendly and 'peoples' firm. All the staff were very nice and always willing to answer questions

  • Quite organised. The day consisted of plenty of workshops and lunch breaks where networking was encouraged

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • As the day was useful and provided good insight. The follow-up opportunities from the day are amazing with the chance to apply for the Business Academy work experience or the Business Apprenticeship


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EY?
  • The best advice is to be confident and yourself. The online tests require practice beforehand and it is important that in the phone interview to think of past experiences you have had which demonstrate a personal strength such as: communication or anything.
