  • I support my project team with lots of day to day tasks. Currently working on Northern Line extension. I go out to site, update programmes manage risk registers. Speak to Internal delivery partners and contractors. Go to meetings

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt many new skills, I have learnt how to use visio software, my presentation skills have improved dramatically. I have done various courses such as the ambassador course, pathway and CDM which are extremely useful for my job and live in that matter.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy my programme, it is challenging but very interesting. You get a lot of responsibility and get to go out and see lots of different things which you wouldn't normally get to see. My team are great and I feel comfortable.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Transport for London?
  • I feel extremely valued by Transport for London, they are putting in a lot of time and effort to make us reach our full potential. We are constantly reminded that we are the future of this company. The fact that we are given a lot of responsibility as well makes me feel valued.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Our programme is very well organised, we get lots of training and support whenever we need it all we have to do is ask. We get regular feedback and get a chance to give our own.

  • We get a lot of support from our training provider. My tutor is fantastic and is always happy to help. They give us lots of guidance.

  • We get lots of support from employers, we have regular meetings to see how we are getting on and always can contact them if we need anything or help.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • I get by with my salary, the fact that we get our travel paid for helps a lot. I can pay housekeeping and do what I want with my salary and save a small amount.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • There are lots of opportunities outside of work, I coach my cousins football team along with my uncle which I really enjoy. There are opportunities to help in the community if you want to.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • It is a good company, very diverse and gives you the opportunity to explore different fields. You can go as far as you want in this company if you put the effort it and the people you meet along the way are great.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Transport for London?
  • Be confident in yourself, and enjoy the day. It is fairly challenging but you just have to be relaxed. Be fully prepared and make sure you know why you are applying for the certain role.
