  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I work for a team called the Unilever Foundry. The Unilever Foundry is the place where innovative startups come to partner with our brands and functions, to pioneer the future of marketing and to accelerate our journey towards making sustainable living commonplace. For 5 months of my roles I worked within events and community and have just recently moved on to work on the network, pitch to pilot process, and leading the mentoring programme. The network is chance for people develo their entrepreneurial mind-set

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have a been on a 2 week marketing foundation course, this courses is offered to graduates after they come out of uni. I can now run an event mostly by my self. I can use the payment system and look after our budgets including of course many more things.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the way I am challenge every single day, just because I'm apprentice it does not mean at all that my team to not trust me, they still give me huge responsibility's every day. My team are also so so so lovely!

  • I feel very valued from my line manager especially and my boss, I feel this way because I am always given tasks that even they would do.

  • Very structured.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • My training is very on board with my apprenticeship qualification. ~I have constant reviews in with them to discuss my progress.

  • If you ask, you get as much support as you like!

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • I feel that whilst living at home, I live happily with my current salary.

  • ALL THE TIME. Dive in, get yourself involved with all the events you can and networking.

  • Yes

  • Such a lovely place, I never regret a thing. The best decision I have made in my life!

  • Never say no, never give up, and never say the word can't.
