Account Executive Review

I am an Account Executive within the Aon Global Client Network. I was formerly a Client Manager within Professional Services Group. Currently, I help facilitate the renewal and mid-term process for global clients who place their local insurance policies with us. I deal with both the wider Aon network, insurers and clients directly.

I have managed ti efficiently handle clients over the telephone. The job I work also allows me to improve my communication skills, as well as word processing and spreadsheet handling abilities.

I do enjoy it very much. I like the fact that I can both achieve a professional qualification and earn a salary at the same time, along with the fact I can have a career in an eciting industry.

I do feel valued as they support us throughout our career progression and provide the necesary support with our learning too. they also provide us with ampl opportunities to expand our network.

It is very well structured and organised. We are informed well in advance of our dealines for exams etc. and the learning sessions and other events are efficiently arranged and can be suited to our individual needs.

The training provider is very supportive. The classes are informative and interesting and keeps us involved. They are also invaluable in helping us pass our exams.

The Aon Early Careers team has managed to find a healthy balance between our Apprenticeship and our day-to-day role within the business. Whenever there is a clash, the team always manages to sort out a compromise.

The starting salary is good, however the pay structure afterwards needs to be advertised more as there is alwasy uncertainty after the first stage of the scheme

Yes there are. We get to go to many social events (such as dinner, lunhces etc.) to expand our own network, along with the chance to visit Manchester United.

it is a great place to start if you have an interest in the Insurance industry. As such a large company too, there is so many options to progress.
