Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Level 4 Apprenticeship

An opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join the Corporate Responsibility team to support with both the Community Engagement (CE) programme and the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programme. You will be working within a supportive and ambitious team, having the opportunity to contribute to its success within the organisation.

The key responsibilities of the role will include:

The role holder will own and deliver initiatives and campaigns that contribute to the CR programme. They will identify and build internal relationships to engage existing and future CRS initiatives with the aim of integrating CRS work into everyday business practices. 

This includes:

  • Effective diary and inbox management
  • Acting as a business contact by actively engaging with community organisations (charities, schools etc.) 
  • Manage general volunteer enquires and the inbox in collaboration with the team administrator 
  • Management of shared calendars, intranet pages and communications 
  • Identify relevant social and environmental risks to the business and escalate to internal and external stakeholders accordingly
  • Support on Sustainability projects 
  • Represent the business at CR events and conferences 
  • Contribute to fundraising activity that enables internal and/or external CR projects, working with the Charity Committee and Network Groups 

Future prospects:

Apprentices who successfully complete their professional qualification and apprenticeship programme will continue to develop and grow in their role as Senior Professional Support at the FCA.

Skills required: 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages - particularly Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to build trust and sound relationships

Minimum qualifications required (e.g. GCSEs/A-Levels): 

  • Minimum of 2 A Levels or equivalent grade C or above.
  • In addition to 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade 4 (C) - 9 (A) including Maths and English.

Employment start date: 7th October 2024

Salary: £22,000

Working hours: 35 hours per week

Annual leave allowance: 25 days
