Deals School and College Leaver Programme
A position on our School and college leaver programme is one of the best ways to get a head start in career with PwC. You’ll learn and develop the specialist skills our clients look for and value most and study towards a professional qualification, with support from us all the way. The work is varied and will enable you to engage on real client work early on. Your role will include analysis of client and market data, and understanding the key trends and issues within the business or industry.
Good communication, excellent relationship building skills, an analytical mindset and a strong eye for detail are really important in our people-focused business.
We support clients in the Mergers & Acquisitions sector, advising throughout the deal cycle from planning beforehand to supporting after the deal has gone through. PwC’s Transaction Services team is a market leader with many private equity and corporate clients. We regularly advise on some of the largest and most complex deals in the world. As well as helping clients who are buying or selling all or part of a business, the team are also involved when clients are refinancing or listing on stock exchanges through Initial Public Offerings (IPOs).
The work we do helps buyers understand what will make a transaction successful. We thoroughly assess a target company’s finances, consider the opportunities and risks and identify potential deal issues. We also work for vendors, independently assessing businesses so that potential buyers can make informed decisions.
What you’ll gain
You’ll gain a Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFAB). It’s the first stage of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) Chartered Accountancy qualification and it’s nationally recognised.
What you need to get in
