  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • As a sales apprentice i am expected to make calls daily to warm leads as well as reach out to customers doing cold calls. I also do all the onboarding for the customer from getting them a quote all the way to getting them live.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt a number of sales techniques by learning from people with experience within our team. I have also increased my CRM knowledge/ Computer skills showing EVRi teaches everything not just the role i am in. I have also learnt how to develop myself better within our development days.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy my programme as I have always wanted to have a role within sales for a big company. I like the fact that I am part of a team that always help each other out whenever someone needs a hand.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is really well structured. It has given me great planning time to know when I have dedicated time to work on my apprenticeship. The programme also gives notice well in advance for whenever a meeting/ day is.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Whenever I need any help whether it be part of my role or part of my apprenticeship I am able to ask for help from anyone within our team as well as from my emerging talent manager. There is help from many people within EVRi and within my apprenticeship provider.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The training provider is always on hand to help with any questions or queries I have. They also help if we need any extra time with assignments as they understand how tough our role can be and how something can change very easily. We have set time to work towards our qualification and make sure we receive our qualification at the highest level.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I believe the qualification gives us an understanding of how to use different techniques within our role whether it be on a phone call or through emails. The different subjects we go through in our workshops help me improve my skills.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are many social activities put in place by EVRi for example team night outs helping us bond better and allowing us to take some time away from work. There are also many networking events put in place to help you meet others within the wider sales team and being able to meet CEOs.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • EVRi is a great place to work with an mazing atmosphere throughout the whole office. You never feel left out at EVRi as you are made part of a team that is always there to support with questions and with getting sales done.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Evri?
  • Have ambition as at EVRi there are many different roles you can move into. You are not limited to one area so have a growth mindset to allow you to reach new heights at the company.
