  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role is to support the delivery of customer insight across the Premier Inn brands, driving decisions across many business areas from product and proposition to Brand Marketing and Operations. I work alongside my colleagues to run an online research community, deliver market and competitor insights and support delivery in many research projects.

  • I now have a solid understanding of Market Research with particular focus on quantitative and qualitative research. Quantitative data was a particular development area for me and my apprenticeship has supported my skills and confidence in this area.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have really enjoyed my programme and have built on existing skills as well as new skills. The programme encourages you to use real job examples which helps bring it all to life - it also makes you realise just how much skill I already am putting into practice.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I have found the organisation/structure not as good as it could be, but I am a very organised/structured person so this may not impact someone as much as myself. It is also worth noting that this is expected with a fairly new programme. I do believe this will be improved over time.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
