  • My role as a care assistant is to help people live a dignified and independent life at home.

  • Learned how to use bowel management equipment, hoisting equipment, learnt life saving first aid skills

  • My programme is very relevant and straightforward which is refreshing compared to very technical programmes available.

  • Extremely well organised, and structured well to complete easily.

  • My employer supports me when I need it, wherever they can. They check in with me regularly.

  • I have regular contact with my tutor and they are happy to support me if I am behind or need addition time.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It gives me better insight I to my role and helps me learn new ways to approach clients who need addition supports.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Due to my job, there needs to be staff on regular basis and so activities aren't always possible. But this is understood by all.

  • Yes

  • The nature of tue job itself is rewarding, but the company are very caring and nurturing to staff achievement and customer wellbeing.

  • Research branches as it is a franchise so each owner may operate differently.
