  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am currently in my 4th placement, each placement has been varied but I have learnt a lot about different mechanical systems, tools and how to strip down and replace components. Safety is a huge factor due to the environment I work in and this is extremely important to myself, my work colleagues and the company. The work itself is varied and I can either be installing equipment/systems, overhauling, correcting defects and also liaising with other departments to get the task completed.
