  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am involved with Technology Support/data Analysis. This has me working with multiple teams within the company to ensure that various sources of data are maintained appropriately, an example of this could be looking over a report used within Power BI to check it operates as expected or is updated in time for upcoming meetings.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt how to use various software such as Excel, Power Bi or SQL. ALl useful tools to have when operating with data.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I feel overall I enjoyed the programme, certain elements could be improved but I can appreciate the course is still relatively new so there will be growing pains.

  • As mentioned the programme is relatively new, this means that parts of the programme are structured well but others feel like improvement is needed.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I received great support from my employer as a in-work mentor was assigned, the mentor was there to provide support along the way.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The training provider did supply support when asked, I feel at times more checks could have been done to ensure that I am meeting the timeline of the qualification.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel it will provide me with useful skills and knowledge that I can use to work within a data analyst/professional environment. This should give me the foundation to develop within my field.

  • My work does have various groups that provide extra curricular activities, whether this be from a learning or a social perspective.

  • 9a. Would you recommend WTW to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I feel that WTW is a unique environment in the sense that it is a close knit group which helps you feel well supported no matter of your position. I feel this is the perfect environment for an apprentice. Many benefits come with a role within WTW.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to WTW?
  • Familiarise yourself with the company, learn the values of WTW. Look into the roles and find one that best suits you, not only in the now but also in the future so that it can assist with your desired career path.
