  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role consists of managing sales orders by using systems such as SAP, One Touch and Outlook. I also help out in other areas of work such as being a customers executive which consists of me quoting customers and talking with suppliers to find out specific information related to the Customer.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt/ developed many new skills whilst being on this Apprenticeship. Such as Organising meetings, Public speaking, Presentation skills and Communication. This Apprenticeship is constantly pushing you to develop and learn new skills.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am currently really enjoying this Apprenticeship and have a very supportive team.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The program is very well structured and organised, I have a dedicated Line manager, mentor, leaning mentor and consistent sessions with the Apprenticeship lead. Which provide me with plenty of support.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive plenty of support with my apprenticeship regarding both work and learning. This is done through regular 121's with my Line manager, mentor, leaning mentor and the Apprenticeship lead. These sessions are great for talking about how I am doing and progression after the apprenticeship.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I get good support with my training provider. They leave you to be independent with your work with is great for me.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification is good for helping me in my role and helps me understand areas that I may not be dealing with directly.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I have been involved in quite a few networking events such as the GTS conference in Heathrow airport. But there are not many social events or consistent sport teams that I know of.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Great community and plenty of support. Also great work environment and the work I do is enjoyable.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Computacenter?
  • Be active in looking for experience and be ready to learn.
