  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have really enjoyed my programme, as it has allowed me to broaden my knowledge on human resources. The qualification I come out with is an accredited human resources qualification. This will allow me to further excel within my field. My programme is 18 months long, however I am on track to completing this early.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is very well organised. We have monthly workshops which help us with learning the knowledge needed to complete the apprenticeship and also for our assignments which are due each month. We also have pre work before the workshops which helps give us a small understanding of the topic. We also have a progress review every 8 weeks with our trainer and line manager to ensure we are on the right track.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive a lot of support from my employer. They allow me to have 1 day a week off of normal work activities to be able to complete any apprenticeship work that needs completing. If we are in any down time at work, my manager will allow me more time to complete apprenticeship activities if I need it.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My training provider offers me a lot of support towards my qualifications. If I have ever been poorly or had personal issues arising, they have allowed me to extend any due dates on assignments and pre work, which has meant I have been able to stay on top of my work an get everything done without feeling overwhelmed.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification helps me perform better in my role as it has extended my knowledge of human resources and how this is needed in an organisation. It has helped me as I have managed to be promoted out of an apprenticeship role before actually completing my apprenticeship, which I am grateful for.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes there are lots of extra curricular activities within my organisation. I am part of the employee engagement committee which helps to organise events and games for our centre, such as bingo, appreciation events and pictionary.
