  • I manage a planning consultation team on behalf of environmental health which includes air quality, contaminated land and consideration of noise, odour and lighting impacts on existing and proposed receptors.

  • Yes. Developed skills on project management, leadership, finance as well as own personal development.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Really enjoyed it. Excellent journey of professional self discovery. I also believe my peers and reportees have benefited from the programme as well.

  • Incredibly well structured. Tutor has been an excellent support and deserves so much credit for allowing me to fit education around work.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Plenty of support from employer. My manager has been incredibly encouraging throughout the 2 years.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Plenty of support. At times I have felt close to giving up and they've provided a great set of ears and allowed me time and space to continue. 10 stars is not sufficient to score my gratitude.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Extremely. Prior to the course, I was put off going into a management role although through the course, I have found that I do not have to compromise on my integrity, values or beliefs. I would suggest all managers undertake this course.

  • Yes. There are a number of social activities that the organisation promotes.
