  • Social skill's, of interacting with new people on a daily basis. Organisational skills, of being prepared for a range of scenarios.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I thoroughly enjoy this programme. I am progressing relatively quick commercially whilst continuing my professional development to become the best i can be in the industry.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is block release. which is good as it allows you to focus on site work when on site and college work when at college.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Line managers are always at hand for support when required. It is a good environment where you are trusted to make decisions and have a good level of responsibility.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Whenever you need support on college work or site work portfolio any member of the Bam team will take pride in assisting you with any queries you may have to help give you a boost.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Massively especially when considering the legal and contractual elements of my job

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, such as social golf days and other opportunities to help the business and local communities e.g. careers fairs etc.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Bam is an excellent company to work for especially when considering the benefits you get as an emoloyee. As an apprentice it is essential you have support from knowledgeable and experienced industry members. You most certainly get this with Bam and the grades from post graduates most certainly support this.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAM?
  • Be yourself and be willing.
