  • I work within the commercial team, raising POs and adding CEs and EWs to online systems after discussions with my team

  • My Excel knowledge has risen exponentially, as well as developing new understand of online software such as CEMAR and COINS

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I think it’s a really good way to get into my career, everyone is helpful and patient. My college time really helped me expand my understanding of the construction industry too.

  • Clearly organised and set out, I understand the length of my course and how it will develop over the years.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Fortnightly check ins with line manager to discuss how my development and tracking for my apprenticeship is going. They are helping ensure I have the resources to check all my key understandings for my apprenticeship

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • LCB are wonderful at providing meetings and extra help if you are struggling and make sure to include everyone in lessons so there is a high level of under in the class.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Having my college block before starting on site really helped me to get a head start in understanding what things i will be doing and various ways to develop moving forward.

  • We have quarterly evening meals with my team to wind down

  • Yes

  • I think that they are a very supportive company - the early careers team is lovely and understanding and will listen to any concerns or issues you have and do their best to help solve them with you.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAM?
  • Be yourself and do your research before applying, BAM have core values that are crucial to how they run the business and i believe it is important they line up with your values to have satisfaction in your role
