  • First year: tasks included reconciling billing files, compiling reports and data entry. Second year: tasks included investigating processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, working with stakeholders to ensure billing runs smoothly, creating resources and learning about billing.

  • I've learned SQL, GCP, and I've developed upon existing Excel and Powerpoint skills.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I loved my programme as I was given multiple opportunities to learn and grow in a supportive environment, and I was encouraged to expand on my skills.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme was structured- we were given a set learning day each week and we were allowed to rotate between different teams according to our strengths and interests. The programme could improve by giving more notice about rotations ahead of times as it wasn't always clear.

  • I received a lot of support from my employer- I was always encouraged to learn and pursue my interests/strengths. Sky also provided lots of opportunities to learn and participate in different things.

  • Forth Valley College provided lots of support and our instructor regularly caught up with us .

  • My qualification greatly supported the work I was doing and vice versa- all the work we completed was relevant to tasks we were completing.

  • There are lots of extra-curricular activities to get involved in at work, such as network, socials and events.

  • I would recommend Sky to a friend because since joining my confidence has skyrocketed, I feel supported and happy and the staff around me have been nothing but supportive and encouraging.

  • Be yourself in your application/interview, and let your strengths shine through.
