  • Understanding rules and legislation of a passenger carrying licence. Checking a bus over in a morning for a first use check and signing off the defect card. Running routes correctly to a timetable. Caring and safeguarding passengers.

  • Personally improved upon my maths within the apprenticeship and job role.

  • This was a childhood dream job so I thoroughly enjoy it.

  • My trainer through Realise was always prepared for the lessons, and was always thorough throughout.

  • Always supported throughout any questions, concerns, incidents etc.

  • Realise training trainers couldn't have been more helpful throughout the apprenticeship.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The apprenticeship was definitely an eye opener, especially with different rules and regulations you don't get taught through the training school.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, we have a depot football team, Airsoft team and a few other sports

  • 9a. Would you recommend Stagecoach UK to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Personally it fits my lifestyle, is well paid and once you're comfortable within the job, it is fairly easy to go about your day.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Stagecoach UK?
  • Ignore alot of the people that have been there a long time, bring alot of negativity upon the company when in reality the job is as good as you make it.
