My responsibilities include handling dealer inquiries and reporting on the week-to-week trend based on important KPIs used to evaluate our dealers. In addition, I examine customers verbatim to identify pain points in the customer journey, and I use that research to develop an action plan that I give to my management. My daily interactions involve my line manager, manager, dealers, and area teams.
Working at Renault has taught me a lot. I have learned a lot about the industry and what it takes to build a good relationship between a dealer and a consumer. My confidence is the most important ability that I acquired during my stay here. I now have a lot of confidence in approaching a dialogue and communicating my results to local teams and upper management.
Not a lot. This is not the curriculum for an apprentice entering Renault, in my opinion. The programme itself assigns the difficult task of leading a Renault improvement project. Especially since, like all other apprentices, you are new to the role and must devote a significant amount of time to becoming acquainted with it and the knowledge you learn. As a result, expecting a student to come up with an improvement initiative when they have no knowledge how the organisation is conducted in the first place is extremely difficult.
Very badly. The programme is completely unstructured. We only have one lesson every month. There will be no future contact between myself and my mentor. Then we are assigned chores that must be done by the end of the month. This becomes exceedingly difficult as you continue to learn your daily tasks and your workload increases. More communication is required between the apprentices and their teaching mentor.
My boss and senior management assist me wherever possible. They have a plethora of industry knowledge; therefore, it is a little easier for them to grasp the specifications for the improvement project. My coworkers have also helped me by volunteering their time and assistance with initiatives. Every observation were carried out, and both vocal and written constructive comments was provided. The well-being check-ins were well-managed, ensuring that I was on track with my tasks and work-life balance.
None! Except for our monthly lessons, training providers do nothing. There is no communication or assistance in the interim. The qualification is extremely difficult to learn and absorb, and there is little interaction to understand the duties assigned. To comprehend the specifications of a few assignments, I had to involve a line manager and a senior. This should not be the case, as the teaching mentorship should be aiding you in any way they can!
None. The certification has absolutely nothing to do with your work at Renault. They fail to emphasise any of the necessary practical abilities. For example, I work in data insight, yet there are no duties or skills listed that would help me in my role. Other than what it entails to make change in the workplace - which is difficult for an apprentice to grasp or perform - I have learned nothing practical from this qualification, but this is what is anticipated from our final project!
Additionally, there are numerous opportunities for extracurricular activities at Renault. They invite you to visit their many exhibits and events held across the country. Renault has an occasional tea party, an annual summer party, and a variety of other social activities in which everyone is welcome to participate. My sole advice is to create an environment surrounding the office for any major events, such as the female World Cup, the Olympics, and so on.
Yes
I believe that everyone who joins Renault is going to discover a lot about the industry as well as Renaults future projects. You will also have some chance to learn and communicate with relevant stakeholders. In addition, the working space is fantastic. Everyone has been supportive and sympathetic, which makes it simpler to get connected to your coworkers and understand the Renault goals.
Learn to use Excel! Excel is frequently utilised at Renault to report, Analyse, and present data. Learning this would be extremely helpful in comprehending what is being reported and make reporting much faster. Explore popular trade jargons. Renault employs a large number of jargons and acronyms. acquiring knowledge about this technique will render it much easier to comprehend a conversation.
