  • My role involves supporting other departments within our organisation in relation to Restricted Commodities and ensuring they are adhering to regulations correctly. Also auditing customers and service centres to ensure correct handling of DG.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Throughout the program I have enhanced my communication skills by having more self awareness, also project management and finance were 2 areas I haven’t had much exposure too but now understand budgets within our department and had opportunity to run a project with our global team

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The program is enjoyable, it has been hard work and the assignments require research but having the opportunity to apply in the workplace and try different things has been great

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I would say due to changing assessors on occasions the organisation could have been better and more upfront about what the project entail and the secondary project for epa as could have been thinking about this whilst completing other modules

  • Lots of support, have been given exposure to areas where I needed to develop and opportunity to apply the knowledge I’ve learnt

  • They have been supportive with questions I’ve had and had timely feedback to ensure I stay on track and covered everything I need

  • It has helped me to think of different approaches and be more self aware of others and how to adapt my style to get most out of people

  • Having worked here for 15 years I can say it’s a great organisation to work for, supportive colleagues, management and lots of opportunity to develop


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to DHL?
  • To be open and adaptable to trying new things and learning, bring ideas and don’t be afraid to ask a question
