The business unit where I sit in is within the National Logistics Optimisation team. My team overseas and contributes to help enhance performances across the region. For instance, ensuring our trucks or trains are being utilised to their full potential, eliminating waiting time etc. My involvement on a day to day basis is updating key KPI data, building internal reports for senior management on PowerBi and any other ad hoc activities. Ultimately, being involved as much as I can.
My knowledge of Excel has improved, and I now know how to use formulas like XLOOKUP, COUNTIF, and SUMIF. I employ SAP effectively. Additionally, I'm learning how to use Power Bi.
I am enjoying the programme I am in. I am acquiring, learning new skills as well as developing current skills like communication, team working, being involved in key projects. I enjoy going out, visiting Tarmac sites so I can build on my understanding of my business.
My programme structure is organised. I hope to complete various different placements within the logistics department at the end of my programme
My Line manager supports me well. Always there to help, guide me when I am stuck.
Very well. Always there to help when needed.
I believe that the certification will advance my knowledge in my field of expertise. It is crucial that, as a data analyst, I am introduced to various modules like SQL so that I might possibly use them in the future for my company. Modules like PowerBi will certainly help me perform better in my role once I understood fully.
Yes there is, a variety of different activities to be involved which I can access through my circle.
