  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am a paid social media analyst, i create adverts using tools such as canva and i use primiarily facebook ads manager and google pay per click (google ad words) in my role, i regularly update clients and make many account changes to better optimise perfromance and always look for the most efficient way to do things

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt new skills such as coding, i was intorduced to coding and learnt alot of techniques and coding languages and how to use them in my day to day role and how i could involve them, languages such as HTML and CSS were the most useful and were practiced on code academy.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoyed the programme alot as i met alot of new people along the way and i was introduced to growth company who helped alot throughout the apprenticehsip and werte always there for gudiance and always helped and worked around schedules which calsses aswell, the overall ecepereince was good and helpful.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • This was structured very well, i had regular calls scheduled out and regular meetings scheduled for certain dates whihc would be penned into a calendar to be as a set reminder of when it was. the calls for knowledge were 2 hours long and were always on a friday, this would rotate between marketing principles and coding

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • i recevied handfulls of support, whenever it was needed i received supprot and it was already very useful with when i was having an overload of work with all of my apprentice work to continue. things usch as case studies i was given a help on top better understand and get another perspective.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • the support was brillaint and it is as of when andhow you need the support, reaching out to an assessor is easy and you are provided with contact details, they are always willing to join a call or email you back asolong it is in work hours this really helped

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • learning new things with coding and even with marketing principles on how other businesses run things and hwo the usual strucuture would run and bringing up comaparisons of how we use it in our workplace and if we even use it and if so why not what do we do different.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • We have extra curricular activites but there is no sports teams etc, we have social meetniogs and work parties such as going to events or going for food and going to games etc. There are also mneetings to discuss work progress and client difficulties inside the role and how we could do better.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • It is a great way to gain extra experience before jumping into a new role and it really helps you gain more knowledge. It also is a great way to start up a new interest of what you want to do in a job and creates various oppurtunities for everyone.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to The Growth Company Limited?
  • Be prepared to commit to your work and really try hard. Be interested into the sector of work that you are going to be getting yourself into otherwise you amy be disconnected from the calls and support given and it wont reflect good on you for the future when you need a recommendation.
