I look after creating and uploading content to the company's social media accounts and website, processing incoming donations requests and administrational duties.
I have developed my writing skills and learnt new skills in using new applications (WordPress, Signal AI and Orlo), and how to write press releases, pitch to the media and reporting the coverage we have gained.
I enjoy my programme very much. I feel I am improving my skill set and enjoy working with my colleagues and for the company. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn and undertake a new qualification whilst having a job.
I have to do an 80/20 split, meaning I dedicate at least one out of five days to completing my assignments. If I need more days, my manager supports this. I am getting the knowledge and experience within my role, both from the work experience and qualification.
I am very well supported by my employer. I I need extra days away from work to complete assignment, my line manager supports this. We also have weekly meetings to check on my progress and well being.
I receive a lot of support from my coach at the PRCA and have monthly meetings with her and my line manager to check how I am and how far along I am in the qualification.
I have picked up new knowledge from my qualification that I have been able to use in my daily activities. I am currently doing a research project which corelates to what I am doing in my role, and we will be able to use the conclusion on the project.
I have been involved in events and volunteering as part of my role.

They are a brilliant, reliable, well-known company to work for, with a huge support network in place. They look after their employees and everyone is friendly and polite to work with. They want individuals to be themselves and trust in their employees.
Do your research on the company and the role you are applying for, and be yourself and proud of who you are, as it is something Tarmac encourages.
